Online Rounds
The Online Round is one of the pathways for participants to qualify for the Global Final in London. It consists of a knowledge test with 30 questions to be completed within 60 minutes on an electronic device such as a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
Participants can register for their preferred slot, either individually or through a partner school or organization registering a group of students. Once started, the test must be completed within the one-hour limit.

Local Rounds
Local Rounds are organized in collaboration with our partner organizations in various countries. These events are held in person, providing participants with a fully immersive competition experience.
Each Local Round features a knowledge test and a live challenge, allowing participants to demonstrate their skills both academically and practically. Events are typically held between September and January and each event lasts just one day.

The Global Final represents the culminating stage of the Young Master Challenge, where qualified participants come together for an immersive seven-day experience in London.
Participants engage in individual and team challenges, explore historic sites, enjoy a Cambridge tour, and take part in awards and celebration activities. A dedicated Parents Program and optional additional three-day program are also available.

Eligibility
Open to eligible students within the published age categories.
Age Categories
Little Bee: 9-11, Honeybee: 12-14, Bumblebee: 15-17.
Competition Rules
Participants are expected to follow instructions, complete individual challenges independently, respect judges and organisers, use only permitted materials, and maintain fair behaviour.
Scoring
Scores are based on the requirements of each competition and challenge.
Awards
Certificates, medals, trophies, qualification awards, and special awards may be presented.
Qualification
Participants may progress through Online, Local, or Regional routes towards the Global Final. Criteria depend on the competition and academic year.
Results
Competition results are communicated through the LMS Platform. Participants may also receive certificates following the release of results.
Appeals
Participants or parents may contact the Young Master team within the stated appeal period if they believe there has been an assessment or administration error.
Academic Integrity
Participants must not copy answers, use unauthorised assistance, share active competition questions, allow another person to compete for them, or use prohibited materials.
Cancellation & Transfers
Competition dates, venues, formats, and programmes may occasionally change. Transfer, cancellation, and refund conditions depend on the specific competition and registration package.
